Triple lands (or Tri lands) is common slang for any nonbasic land that produces three colors of mana.

Original triple lands[edit | edit source]

The earliest triple land cycles from Homelands which produces three colors of mana conditionally by "{T}: add {C} to your mana pool. {1},{T}: Add M to your mana pool. {2},{T}: Add N or O to your mana pool." where N and O are the allied colors of M.

Tri-color taplands[edit | edit source]

There are some tri-colored tapland cycles. The ability to produce three colors of mana is often compensated with entering the battlefield tapped.

Lairs[edit | edit source]

Planeshift lairs that must be sacrificed when it comes into play unless return a non-Lair land to owner's hand and can be tapped for one mana of any of three colors.

Tri-color tribal land[edit | edit source]

There is one tribal land from Morningtide associated with Treefolk. It has the basic land type Forest, which means it can be tutored for by any card searching for a Forest, such as an appropriate fetch land, Elvish Aberration or Gaea's Bounty. In addition it can tap for {W} or {B} at the cost of 1 life.
